E-invoicing readiness checker

Four questions, and you get a dated summary of what the mandate requires from your business, ranked by what to do first.

What is your annual turnover?
Who do you invoice?

Trade and government sales are the ones that need approval before the customer receives the invoice.

How do you issue invoices today?
Can a till trade for a full day with no internet?

Be specific. A till that slows down is not the same as one that keeps selling.

Answer all four to continue.

How this works

What the result is built from

The dates come from the published schedule. Everything else is derived from your four answers, not from a template.

Your tier and its date

Turnover places you in one of three bands, and each band has a published go-live date. Two of the three are already in force, so the result tells you whether you are behind or have runway.

Your compliance surface

Whether you invoice businesses or only consumers decides which regime applies. Trade sales need approval before the customer receives the invoice. Consumer sales are reported after the fact.

Your capability gaps

How you invoice today and whether a till can trade offline decide how much work is actually in front of you. Those two answers move the answer more than turnover does.

This is orientation, not tax advice. Confirm your position against the current NRS notice and with your accountant before you commit budget.
